摘要(Abstract)：
近十几年来,亨利·詹姆斯的小说被频频搬上银幕。本文讨论影视作品对亨利·詹姆斯小说的改编。通过创新的改编,电影导演将小说文本中的不确定因素呈现在观众面前。文章追溯亨利·詹姆斯几部主要作品被改编成电影的历史,并分析十九世纪与当今社会对女性气质解读的相似之处。
